HGTV's Curb Appeal

When faced with a daunting front-porch addition to a home in suburban Washington, DC, the producers at the popular HGTV show "Curb Appeal" turned to the Southern Pine Awareness Network (SPAN) for help.

The house, while large and beautiful, lacked first-impression personality. The producers decided to design and build a grand statement for the front entry and give the entire makeover a unique look blending Key West and Colonial styles.

SPAN met the challenge by providing pressure-treated Southern Pine porch flooring and framing, along with a little bit of bead board for flair. The result? See for yourself: a truly gorgeous front porch and overall look.
